Beyond Extremes Inc. was Incorporated in 2001. It was originally established in 1995 as multimedia company FlashingSteve Inc. The owners are Steve L’Esperance and Wenda Atkin in Burlington, Ontario.
Steve L`Esperance
Steve L'Esperance is a creative media producer, powered by passion. He creates 'images with imagination' in video, photography, special graphic effects - whatever it takes to deliver a message with a memory.
He is the developer and idea guy behind three major online music communities,
CanadaJams.ca,
PeterboroughJams.ca and the work-in-progress,
GateRadio.com. He is well known as a promoter of Canadian music, producing online photo/video reviews of independent musicians, building social music communities, and creating an archive of live performance as technology and the Internet begin to grow.
The Hamilton Music Awards 2007 recognized his company with a nomination for Best Website/Online Publication,
CanadaJams.ca.
In 2004, he was recognized by
The Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce with a Business Excellence Award for Innovation/Research & Development for
PeterboroughJams.ca.
Steve also performs web optimization services (Search Engine Optimization or SEO) and has provided graphics services for well over 200 corporate businesses from
RonnieHawkins.com through to RE/MAX in Turks & Caicos.
Wenda Atkin M.A.A.T.O.
Wenda Atkin is a creative and technical designer and editor of several music community websites.
She is the photographer, coordinator and co-developer for three major online music communities,
CanadaJams.ca,
PeterboroughJams.ca and the work-in-progress,
GateRadio.com.
Wenda performance photography is shared through the Internet Music communities.
The Hamilton Music Awards 2007 recognized her and with a double nomination for Event Photographer of the Year, and her company’s
CanadaJams.ca as Best Website/Online Publication.
Her photography has netted attention with several photo contest awards. In 2006, her shot of baby foxes won the Grand Prize from Cottage Life Magazine, where you may purchase 16x20 prints of 'Brood Brothers'.
In 2004, her company was recognized by

Her creative background began early in Art school and Architectural Technology, and led to a career in designing education and business environments.

Outstanding Achievement from The AATO for her work in the development of the conversion of regular classroom space to a technology-enhanced learning environment. The computer furniture she designed for Sheridan College is marketed to other institutions in North America.
